"Sue did my wedding cake, which is a VERY BIG DEAL, and it was absolutely perfect. I loved showing it off!) I got so many compliments on the cake as soon as we walked in the door, and then even more once my guests got to taste it! So many people asked to take it home that my Groom and I actually didn't even get to take our top layer back with us :) Sue payed perfect attention to detail. She asked questions about my cake idea that I wouldnt have known how to explain without prompting, I spent a long time explaining the exact red I wanted and she patiently and happilly gave me her time. It came out perfect. She even matched the red from the inside of the cake to the outside. It was a masterpiece. This is her art. On top of having a gorgeous, breathtaking, DELICIOUS wedding cake, working with Sue Baisden is a joy. She is more than fair, enjoyable, tender hearted, excited with you about your event, thorough, precise, and one of the rare gems left in this world. Ive had the privilage to work with Sue before this, and have always looked up to her because of her heart, and her professionalism. Shes good at her job, and she will get it done right. "Ok, that's probably a little dramatic, lol, but seriously, these cakes are a-maz-ing. My wife and I had Sue and Gary do our wedding cake, and it was as tasty as it was beautiful. They are so sweet to work with because they take the time to listen to what you want, they offer suggestions (not in a pushy way, but in a caring way), and then craft a masterpiece. They also make sure to take care of their customers in all aspects (eg money). You will not get screwed by these people. The prices are more than reasonable, especially since what you will be given is nothing short of a work of art. And not only is the cake beautiful, but it is delicious. We had a fondo-icing cake with lemon-lime flavors, and ohhhhhh.... it was so good my wife and I felt it would be a crime to freeze the top layer -- so we ate it on our honeymoon. I won't beat a dead horse but these cakes are amazing, the people are amazing...book Capital City Cakes for your cake needs/wants."

Gary & Sue Baisden, the owners of Capital Cakes. are very friendly and nice people to do business with. Thay will make sure that you are a satisfied customer. Recently my family surprised me with a 70th birthday gathering. My daughters gave them one of my young school pictures. They put that in the center of my cake surrounded with beautiful flowers and the yummy frosting. It was beautiful to look at and very delicious to eat. Their cakes are very moist and fit for a king.
